Alex joined the ASC Office of Distance Education as an Instructional Designer in July 2024. Prior to starting at OSU, he has used instructional design to help a wide range of clients. From virtual classrooms to remote corporate trainings, Alex has been dedicated to making distance learning more engaging and accessible. He first adopted his learner-centric approach during his experience as a trainer and people leader in the craft brewing industry. Whether it’s an in-person moment on a manufacturing floor, or a virtual experience meant for a large group of students, Alex takes the learner’s needs into account first and then works backwards to develop an experience that fits. 

If he’s not in the office you can likely find him in the kitchen, on the bike path, or at a concert.
