Master of Arts in Art Education
Join a global cohort of arts educators who are transforming their practice in the classroom, in the studio, in the museum and in the community. Through the online Master of Arts in Art Education, you will reignite your passion for teaching, while exploring your own identity as an educator and creator. This flexible, part-time online program is designed to fit into the schedule of full-time educators who want to immediately apply new concepts to their daily teaching practice. With an emphasis on social justice and contemporary arts, the dynamic curriculum will engage you as both an artist and an educator.

Master of Geographic Information Science and Technology 
The Master of Geographic Information Science and Technology (MGIST) program at Ohio State is specifically designed for professionals who wish to advance their careers. This program includes 15 courses directly related to the GIS profession. To graduate, students need 33 credit hours, including a capstone to showcase their skills and knowledge. The fully online program provides students with flexibility that fits their own schedule. Students can also apply for the in-person program to experience the excellent vibes of the Columbus campus.


Online Certificate Programs

Advanced Chemistry Knowledge for Educators Certificate Program
This online graduate certificate program has been created to serve teachers seeking to improve their pedagogical content knowledge to support their teaching of College Credit Plus (CCP) courses.  This program consists of four graduate courses, totaling 18 graduate credit hours, that are entirely online, asynchronous, and scheduled throughout the year in half or full semester offerings.

Black Studies Certificate
The Black Studies certificate is an interdisciplinary undergraduate certificate program that provides an introduction to Black Studies as it relates to African American, African Diaspora, and African Studies. You’ll delve into African American studies through topics including the field’s geographic and demographic scope, methods and modes of analysis, topical and thematic concerns, applications to interdisciplinary teaching and learning, and commitments to community outreach, engagement, and activism. This certificate is designed for teachers seeking to integrate Black Studies into their classwork, community members looking to pursue further focused study in the discipline, high school graduates looking to explore African American and African Studies as a bridge to future college study, and working professionals wanting to better serve their clients and communities.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Certificate
Through world-class faculty and instruction in the College of Arts and Sciences, the curriculum will expose you to cutting-edge social research on diversity and equip you with the analytic tools necessary to work toward maximizing societal equity. This is a 12-credit hour certificate that is highly customizable to your interests, with dozens of courses available across departments that meet the program requirements.

Essential Skills for Travel and Business in Russia Certificate
The Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures’ Essential Skills for Travel and Business in Russia Certificate provides students with basic communicative skills to satisfy needs in a limited number of everyday travel and business situations, as well as cultural competency to better navigate interactions in Russia. The certificate is ideal to those traveling to Russian for extended business dealings, or for those who want to take extended tourism trips to Russia.
